The 2026 wellness agenda shows more clearly that personal care is not limited to the bathroom or the gym. Microplastics, water quality, air, food packaging, textile choices and household materials become part of the health conversation. This field is still developing through scientific evidence, yet consumer awareness has already begun to change daily choices.
Prepared living is part of the same expanded understanding of wellness. In the face of climate crises, heat waves, fires, floods and urban infrastructure disruptions, keeping basic water, first aid, medication, power sources, important documents and a communication plan at home is no longer paranoid; it is seen as a conscious preventive wellness behavior. A sense of safety is also a basic need of the nervous system.
