In fact, stem cells are found in every tissue, but stem cells are not active cells; they are few in number and dormant in our organs, but they wake up from sleep and become active during a loss, injury, or disease process, repairing the injury tissue by turning into cells in that tissue.
For example, this is how our bone fractures heal or how our liver renews itself, and this is how our blood cells are renewed. In other words, our stem cells are actually our fountain of life!
