DOES EXERCISING MAKE US BEAUTIFUL?

This week, again, my carefree dreams have been replaced by curious questions based on science, and I would like to ask a question that perhaps no one has thought of or that may not have a scientific basis when we think of it and that causes us to make inferences to ourselves.

Does exercising make us beautiful?
Of course, I think it has attracted the attention of all of you when it comes to becoming beautiful, so let’s analyze the question in the light of scientific literature on this subject.
The word “becoming beautiful” means getting closer to being beautiful, and in my book “A WORLD WITHOUT FILTERS IS POSSIBLE”, I explained the journey of beauty at length. Anyone who wishes can follow this part of the book.

Let’s examine the relationship between exercising and beauty from different perspectives.
In what sense does exercising contribute to us?
Exercising reduces the signs of ageing in general. So how does exercising achieve this? We actually define old age as inflamaging. In other words, the inflammation that occurs in our body replaces healthy tissues over the years, which is the final situation that arises secondary to this.

We can mention that exercising has an antiaging effect on the lives of those who exercise over a few factors.

  1. People who exercise live with good versions of their bodies. The contribution of exercising to physical beauty is undeniable. For example, a tight and raised butt for the female body, a thin waist area for the male body, and a body with good muscle distribution give us both a healthy and aesthetic appearance.
  2. Exercising allows the secretion of serotonin and dopamine hormones in the body. Boosting these hormones is good for both your body and soul. In studies conducted, brightness and youthfulness were observed on the skin of those who did sports compared to others.
  3. Muscle movements in people who exercise (these are more effective than those who do not) cause some factors that are stored in the muscles to be released in our blood and, as a result, create a positive change in both our general health and our beauty.
  4. An interesting study shows that the stem cells that settle in the bone marrow are released into the blood as a consequence of the muscle movements of people who exercise. These stem cells that are dormant in the bone marrow become active when they are released into the blood and repair where there is cellular destruction (ageing). This means that exercising is also an important parameter in activating your stem cells to repair a cell elsewhere in your body. And we all know that stem cells are anti-ageing and our greatest weapon in terms of repair.
  5. It is an indirect effect, but the fact that the general eating habits of those who do sports are healthier than those who do not may be the answer to the fact that the skin quality and body beauty of people who exercise are good compared to those who do not. We can exemplify this as follows: Imagine someone who exercises and quits smoking or smokes less because of it; if this person did not quit smoking, the signs of old age on his/her skin would be more intense. Likewise, the skin and body beauties of people who eat healthy and natural food are more prominent than people who do not.
  6. I would like to talk about a disadvantage here: doing excessive sports, that is, going beyond your limits, can create a negative situation, especially against our facial beauty in terms of becoming beautiful. The main reason for this is that the body, which becomes lean with excessive sports, becomes beautiful but may consume the adipose tissue on our face at the same time. You can observe this especially in male and female bodybuilders. While their bodies look very good (a bodybuilder woman’s body is, of course, far from feminine, but beautiful in image), their faces look empty and sunken. As in all matters, a life without exaggeration is a guide for us here. As the fat in our body decreases, the fat that gives our face its vitality also takes its share from this. Although we can restore it, I would advise you to avoid this effect of excessive sports.
Here, I leave my last motto by adding my possible and sometimes science-based perspective from a plastic surgeon’s perspective on whether exercising makes you beautiful.
    Do sports and get beautiful.
