THE ANCIENT CALL OF THE NORTH WITH WARDRUNA
The Ancient Call of the North with Wardruna: August 9 at Harbiye Open-Air Theatre!
The enchanting sounds, mystical rituals, and ancient tones of the North are set to embrace Istanbul! One of the most powerful voices of Nordic folk music, Wardruna, will meet music lovers on August 9 at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre, in a joint production by Epifoni and Stagepass.
Drawing inspiration from ancient Norse traditions, Wardruna transforms the voices of nature, history, and spirit into music, bringing the deep mysticism of the Viking Age to the stage. Known for their evocative compositions featured in iconic productions like Vikings, Game of Thrones, and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, the band is set to deliver an unforgettable night with powerful vocals, traditional instruments, and a hypnotic atmosphere.
Having performed in awe-inspiring historical venues such as the Odeon of Herodes Atticus beneath the Acropolis in Athens, the Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv in Bulgaria, and Devin Castle in Bratislava, as well as natural marvels like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Wardruna continues to create true moments of connection—between landscapes, souls, and sounds.
Their next rendezvous: one of Turkey’s most iconic open-air venues, Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu.
