Hello everyone, I am Specialist Aesthetician Gizem Yalçın. I would like to tell you about an application called "Dermapen", that is ideal for the fall months following the end of the summer. What is Dermapen (Microneedling)?

Dermapen is a pen-shaped device that we use to create controlled damage by micro-needling along with vibration on the skin. With its customized and sterile needles, the dermapen device, which is constructed of thin, stainless steel; creates controlled damage to the top layer of the skin by opening micro channels on it. In this way, the skin's self-renewal process begins. The application increases collagen and elastin production, while accelerating cell regeneration. Dermapen, a micro-needle application applicable to all ages, is also used to accelerate the skin regeneration system that has slowed with age.

How should Dermapen be applied?

Following a general skin analysis, a special procedure should be followed when using the Dermapen application, depending on the person's skin and color type.

Treatment should be performed in fall and winter. The sun is one of the biggest factors of skin blemishing. For this reason, when the sun's rays are the least, they are the most suitable months for the dermapen application.

Before the application, the entire skin is anesthetized by applying anesthesia cream. Then, stimulation is performed on the skin by circulating the small, needle micro head of the device in the area where the application is performed. Thanks to these small skin stimuli, the blood flow in the area accelerates and the regeneration process of the cells begin. In addition, the application provides collagen production in the skin.

Dermapen should be used in conjunction with skin-nourishing products such as creams, lotions, serums, and peptides designed specifically for the process. Then, massage is applied with products that relax the skin and the procedure is ended with 50 SPF sunscreen. The process takes 40 minutes.

Which skin types are Dermapen is applied to?

All skin types can use Dermapen, with the exception of those with capillary issues and skin type 2, or those with white skin, acne, open wounds, herpes, dermatitis, and sensitive skin.

In which treatments is Dermapen preferred?

It can be used by those who want to rejuvenate their skin as well as those with acne-prone skin, oily skin prone to acne, sunspots, pore openings, wrinkles, and loss of elasticity, stained skin, matte skin, and pale skin.

What are the effects of Dermapen on the skin?

After controlled damage to the skin with Dermapen treatment, skin regeneration accelerates. Thus, the vitality and moisture ratio of the skin increases. At the same time, acne scars, pore opening, skin spots, and wrinkles are reduced. The matte and pale appearance disappears. The skin is refreshed and replenished.

Refreshment and healing on the skin is noticeable after each application. In addition, the application is supported by home care products suitable for the skin type and the problem.

It is an application that everyone can have in expert hands with peace in mind.

Hope to meet with cool applications and innovations in our next issue...
