Hello everyone from Vox 2025’s spring issue…
While I was leafing through my first book, A World
Without Filters, in search of an editorial idea for this issue, a quote in
the facial aesthetics section caught my eye. I had introduced that chapter with
a line from one of my favorite authors, Simone de Beauvoir: “Youth is something that the Italians have given a beautiful name: Stamina! The vital sap, the fire that enables one to love and create. Lose it, and you’ve lost everything.”
Even though we have been collectively struggling through a
long winter, worn down both physically and spiritually, I hope that this spring
we can remember our Stamina—the essential spark and fire that let us
love and create.
Enjoy reading…
