What is a liquid face lift?
In time, soft tissue loss occurs on our face. As a result, sagging, grooves and collapses may occur on our face. One way to replace this tissue loss is filling applications.
Liquid Face Lift is the name we give to the facial rejuvenation process by using collagen filling in multiple areas of our face.
Collagen filling used in liquid facelift are substances compatible with the body, mostly containing hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is one of the connective tissue elements located between the cells in the human body. It has positive affect on the applied area due to its moisture storage feature.
Filling applications are preferred because they are practical and painless and can be applied quickly in the clinical environment.
Filler materials are permanent (non-dissolving), temporary (dissolving over time) filling according to their contents. In filler applications, the safety and quality standards of the filler are very important for the safety of the application.
I prefer to use filling containing ‘hyaluronic acid’ in my patients. The safety of these FDA-approved fillings is approved and there are no side effects. Permanence periods vary between 6 months and 2 years.
By the way, as an aesthetic plastic surgeon, I do not find it right to apply a permanent filler to the face. I do not recommend permanent type fillings to my patients
WHO ARE SUITABLE CANDIDATES FOR LIQUID FACELIFT?
I believe that the most suitable candidates here are middle-aged men and women with limited sagging.
Liquid facelift is not a suitable method for the treatment of excessively sagging, relaxed and emptied faces. . The reason is that in order to get the lift effect on such faces, the face must be overfilled… An overfilled face does not lead to a natural and elegant result, even if it is a lift. This is the group of patients, my clients, fear me the most.
I need to tell you right away. Contrary to popular belief, if the right amount of filling is done in the right hands, the result will be natural and stylish. A fresh and energetic result is obtained without changing the patient’s own expression. Please disregard the bad examples you see.
Which areas on the face are preferred for liquid facelift?
Our face is like a tent that rises above our cheekbones, which over time empties and sags with gravity and aging.
The preferred areas in liquid face lift for facial rejuvenation are primarily bony areas; for example, cheek and temple, cheek grooves, the corner of our jaw line and the tip of our chin are bone-based points on our face, and collagen applications to these points revitalize our face and elevate it.
Likewise, under the eyes, lips, around the mouth, nosal root and forehead can be included in this process if necessary.
WHAT DO I NOT DO IN LIQUID FACE LIFT?
As a plastic surgeon, I always favor naturalness.
In liquid face lift, I do not exaggeratedly use filling on an excessively loosened sagging face. I do not go for exaggerated results while removing the tissue loss on the face.
When restoring certain areas on the face, I do not find it right to overemphasize a single organ, such as lips, cheeks, chin, temples.
I think the extremes that disturb the harmony of the face will not look stylish

In fact, as in many aesthetic applications, filling applications are tailored-made. The facial structure of the person makes this mandatory. For this reason, if you will prefer filling application, plan this with your doctor in advance. Ask them to even show you sample treatment results.

I perform the treatment in a clinical environment. This process takes about 30 to 45 minutes.
Filling is not a painful treatment.
However, in people with low pain threshold, I prevent you from feeling pain by applying mild drug cream to the application area.
You can return to your daily life immediately after the procedure.
How long do facial fillings last?
Fillings are effective between 12-18 months. Then, collagen is digested by our body over time. In this case, the treatment is repeated.
Finally, the filling, when used correctly and combined with botox, allows you to obtain great results in early anti-aging treatments.
