Biotin

Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin B complex, also known as vitamin H or vitamin B7. Biotin, which bacteria produce in the colon, is an essential vitamin necessary for healthy living and a robust immune system. It also contributes to cell growth. Biotin is needed for the production of keratin, a protein that supports strong nails and hair. Biotin deficiency results in a dry and flaky scalp, easily broken, brittle, lifeless, and shapeless hair, hair loss, and baldness (alopecia). Biotin plays an active role in preventing hair loss and supports healthy hair growth. It is not stored in the body, and the excess is excreted in the urine.

Folic Acid

Folic acid is a B group vitamin, also known as folacin, folate, or vitamin B9. Folic acid is necessary for the production and maintenance of new cells, and DNA synthesis. Folic acid also contributes to the formation of red blood cells and hair growth. Studies have shown that folic acid is effective in treating hair loss (alopecia). Folic acid deficiency negatively affects DNA synthesis, cell division, and red blood cell formation. It can also lead to graying hair and impaired hair growth, resulting in poor hair growth.

Vitamin B5

Pantothenic acid is also known as panthenol or vitamin B5. Vitamin B5 strengthens the epithelial structure of the skin, repairs and moisturizes damaged skin and hair, and plays an active role in preventing hair loss. It protects hair and gives it vitality and shine, supporting healthy hair growth. It plays a vital role in the formation of coenzyme A, which is essential for hair growth. When it is deficient, the hair follicle cells are not adequately nourished, and hair loss occurs.

VITAMIN B12

Vitamin B12 is a type of "cell growth factor" and one of the most important supporters of hair health. Animal products, meat, fish, chicken, eggs, and dairy top the list of foods rich in B12.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin that drives collagen production and hair growth. Our body actively produces free radicals when it converts food into energy. These free radicals damage our hair follicles. Vitamin C fights free radicals in our body with its antioxidant properties and contributes to overall hair health.

ZINC

Zinc is another mineral that plays an essential role in preventing hair loss. It helps in cell regeneration as well as renewing and strengthening the tissues in the scalp. A deficiency of zinc leads to thinning and thinning hair, which can fall out very quickly.

Studies and clinical experiments show that the mineral zinc inhibits the action of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase and prevents testosterone and DHT from binding to the receptors in your cells. Therefore, while zinc protects follicles from DHT, it also increases the excretion of these hormones. Because of these effects, it is also valuable for preventing and treating male pattern hair loss.

VITAMIN B6

It plays a vital role in the rapid regeneration of cells in the scalp. Deficiency can lead to inflammation of the scalp. It increases blood circulation and oxygenation in the scalp. Therefore, it improves the nourishment of hair follicles. It contributes to hair durability and healthy hair growth.

IRON

Iron is one of the most common minerals that our body lacks. According to studies, hair loss is common with iron deficiency. Iron deficiency may not be detected only upon hair loss. However, hair loss in various forms seems to occur mainly in men. It is also commonly observed in women due to age-related or genetic predisposition, especially after menopause, multiple diseases, and childbirth. Hair loss due to iron deficiency is more common in women.

VITAMIN A

All cells need vitamin A to multiply. Vitamin A also helps the skin glands produce an oily substance called sebum. Sebum moisturizes the scalp and helps keep hair healthy.

A deficiency in vitamin A can cause many problems, including hair loss.

VITAMIN D

There is a link between low vitamin D levels and hair loss. Studies have shown that vitamin D helps to create new hair follicles. Since vitamin D is thought to play a role in hair growth, vitamin D deficiency should be investigated in hair loss cases.

L-CYSTEINE

L-Cysteine is an amino acid that plays a crucial role in binding the hair fiber to the hair follicle and strengthening the connection. When taken daily in adequate amounts, it keeps hair looking strong and healthy. Supports the tissues of skin, hair, and nails. It also protects the skin from the harmful rays of the sun. It ensures the production of keratin, which hair and nails need.

L-LYSINE

Lysine is one of the essential amino acids that the body needs to build proteins. It would be best if you had lysine for proper collagen formation. Collagen is the most abundant protein that makes up our bones, cartilage, connective tissue, and tendons. Therefore, one of the main benefits of lysine is observed in our skeletal and skin systems. This amino acid can also be used to treat osteoporosis. It is one of the amino acids that help healthy hair growth. Hormone and enzyme production also needs the support of L-lysine.
