Summer's almost here. It's getting hotter outside. We're slowly starting to get rid of the lethargy of winter, feeling the sun, planning vacations and shopping for bikinis. Inside we're eager for life, ready to mingle, to socialize and maybe even to fall in love.

So are our faces and bodies as ready as our souls?

How would you like to see yourself this summer? Is your body and your skin ready for the summer? Are you happy with yourself? How would you create a better version of yourself?

I can assure you that by bringing technology and science together with aesthetics, plastic surgery has been creating miracles in recent years. And as aesthetic plastic surgeons, we keep a close eye on the latest developments in the world and implement them for our patients with our skills, experience and knowledge.

Based on my observations of thousands of clients and patients I've had over the years, I can tell you that I have personally witnessed a surge in the levels of satisfaction and happiness in those who plan small or big operations or procedures for themselves as we welcome summer.

Let's take a look at some of the surgical or non-surgical procedures.

What do you need the most this summer?

Botox?

Botox is a method commonly employed to remove wrinkles on the face. Genetic factors, excessive use of mimics, advanced age, weight gain and loss can all lead to wrinkles in areas such as around our eyes, on our foreheads, between our eyebrows, and on our nasal roots. Taking 10 minutes out of your day to get botox will help you get rid of wrinkles and make sure your skin is more fresh, lively, young and dynamic-looking. Remember to make a botox appointment as we go into summer.

Fillers?

Injecting fillers, which we do together with botox and achieve immediate results, is another miraculous procedure that have become very popular in recent years. Deep wrinkles, lines, loss of volume, and collapse can occur on the face for various reasons. We use fillers to correct that loss of volume. We are able to produce successful results in areas such as sunken cheeks, deep wrinkles between eyebrows, and especially around lips and the chin. For a fresh and rested look, I strongly recommend getting fillers, which is a 10-15 minute procedure.

The understanding of plastic surgery has started to settle on a more accurate ground in recent years. The misconceptions that such procedures wear out the skin, make the skin worse once their effects begin to subside and that they lead to rapid aging have been left in the past. The confidence and demand for these procedures, which are actually designed to delay and stop aging, are on the rise.

A rhinoplasty?

If you are on the lookout for a bigger change in yourself this summer, rhinoplasty may be the right operation for you. If you feel like your nose is too large or wide for to your face, you can have its shape corrected according to the "golden ratio." This operation, which also helps you breathe better and has a high success rate, is now followed by a faster and more comfortable recovery period than ever.

Vaser Liposuction or Cutera Trusculpt Id-Flex?

As summer moves closer, what draws our attention and upsets us the most are probably the fatty regions on our bodies.

There are two ways to get rid of fat on specific areas. We offer surgical and non-surgical solutions. As you take this step it's important to remember that even though non-surgical solutions yield considerable results, they are not as big as those from surgical operations.

1- The most effective of the non-surgical solutions: Cutera Trusculpt Id - Flex makes it possible to get rid of fat in the abdomen and waist area, as it reduces fat and helps achieve a more muscular appearance.

2- The most effective surgical solution, Vaser Liposuction, is a great procedure to get rid of fat in specific areas on the body. Vaser liposuction, which is more of a body shaping procedure rather than a method of weight loss, is among the operations most commonly preferred right before summer. Wouldn't it be better, for example, if you got rid of the fat from your abdominal area and showed up to the beach with a more muscular body or if your waist was slimmer and your buttock more curved and plump?

What about abdominoplasty?

Who wouldn't want a nice, smooth and fit tummy?

Sagging in the abdominal area occurs as a result of weight gain and weight loss, childbirth, intense and rapid weight loss operations such as gastric sleeve surgery, as well as loosening of skin and collagen due to aging.

The surgical operation to correct the sagging and make the abdomen look slimmer and tighter is what we call an abdominoplasty.

Big or small, whatever procedure you decide on, do something nice for yourself as we welcome summer! You can be sure that it'll be good for you...
